1) Lately I am more cynical or distrustful about social media companies; I think they only care about making money. I hate to be cynical and question their mission, but if social media is supposed to help people connect why do the companies seem to encourage online fighting?Their claims of positive benefits also make me cynical-I just don't believe the companies when some research shows social media can harm our mental health Because I am feeling so cynical or doubtful about social media, I've decided to stop using it.
