Question

Because pigeons are born with a natural ability to find their way bome across long distances, ancient civilizations like the Persians. Romans, and Greeks realined that the birds could be trained to carry messages. To take advantage of a pigeon's skills, messengers would bring the creature to a new location and then release the bird with a message in it's beak. Once free from tle cage, the pigeon would instinctively fly home and they delivered the message.
