Answer
B. Heart attack
Explanation
Cardiac arrest is a sudden loss of heart function. It occurs when the heart's electrical impulses that coordinate the heartbeat aren't functioning properly. This causes the heart to suddenly stop beating. Many causes can trigger a cardiac arrest but in adults, the most common is a heart attack or the medical term as "myocardial infarction". This happens when a blockage in one or more of the coronary arteries prevents blood from reaching the heart muscle and thereby rendering a part of the heart non-functional because of oxygen deprivation.
