In 1912, Wilfrid M Voynich acquired a collection of medieval writings. Among them was a very odd manuscript.At 234 pages long, it was richly illustrated with drawings of plants and astronomical figures. But the accompanying text was utterly bizarre. Although clearly some sort of alphabetical script the letters were not from any recognizable language. Voynich asked scholars to help him decode the book But the illustrations were too vague and the text too difficult. The manuscript is square inspiring practical glossy baffling
