Answer

High boiling points, Conduct electricity in molten or aqueous states

Explain

## Step 1: Understanding the properties of ionic compounds
Ionic compounds are formed by the electrostatic attraction between positive and negative ions. This results in a 3D network structure where each ion is surrounded by ions of the opposite charge.

## Step 2: Analyzing the properties related to the state of matter
Ionic compounds are hard solids with high melting and boiling points. This is because to break up the substance, it requires breaking up each individual ionic bond which is very strong and hence requires more energy. Therefore, ionic compounds do not have low melting points.

## Step 3: Analyzing the properties related to electrical conductivity
Even though ionic compounds may not conduct electricity when solid as their ions are not free to move, when ionic compounds are dissolved or melted the ions are free to move. Thus, they can conduct electricity when in these states. Therefore, ionic compounds do not conduct electricity in solid state but they do conduct electricity in molten or aqueous states.
