Answer

Water Vapour.

Explain

## Step 1:
Similar to our given example, during the process of complete combustion, a hydrocarbon, which comprises of hydrogen and carbon atoms, reacts with oxygen. Due the mass-conservation law, only substances that were present before the reaction can be found after the reaction. Which means, only hydrogen, carbon and oxygen can directly contribute to the final products.

## Step 2:
In the perfect scenario, when a hydrocarbon is combusted completely in the presence of ample oxygen supply, all hydrogen atoms react with oxygen to form water, and the carbon atoms react with oxygen to form carbon dioxide.

## Step 3:
Looking at our option list of question, among oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur dioxide and water vapour - only 'water vapour' can directly be contributed to by something from the original reactants of the combustion. While from the definition of complete combustion, carbon dioxide also always given, it's not in our choices. Therefore, the answer would be 'water vapour'.
