Explain

Environmental hazards are challenges posed by the environment to the well-being of a population. These challenges can affect human health through direct physical harm or indirectly through impeding the sustainability of life. They can be biological, genetic, social or emerging among others.
Smoking is not a biological hazard as these hazards emanate from biological processes that present an inherent ability to cause negative impacts to health. It's also not a genetic hazard, as genetic hazards affect the structure and function of the genetic set-up of organisms. An emerging hazard would be something new or sudden, and smoking has been around for centuries.
Social hazards associate directly to society and its structures without the physical but psychological impacts- causing inequality and other social problems. Smoking fits into this categorizing as it's a choice influenced largely by societal, peer pressure and promotional advertisements from tobacco companies. Tuts leads humans causing harm, not just to the person who is inhaling the smoke, but also to those around them from second-hand smoke, thereby causing public health issue/detriment.
