Answer

Most Reactive: D
: B
: A
Least Reactive: C
Reason: D is the most reactive because it can displace all the other metals from their salt solutions. B displaces A and C from their salt solutions hence is less reactive than D but more than A. A can only displace C hence is less reactive than B and more than C. C is least reactive as it does not displace any other metal from its salt solution.

Explain

## Step1:
Like in a classic reactivity series, a displacing (more reactive) metal knocks out other metals from their compounds/salt. With consideration to that, we start by studying each row carefully, where reactions occur (tickemarks) or do not occur (crossmarks).

## Step 2:
Metals A, B, C and D are reacted one by one with sulphates of A, B, C, D metals in rows.
- From the Shaded Row A, only displacement occurs with C hence C is less reactive than A. We denote this as : A > C
- From the Shaded Row B, B displaces A and C hence, more reactive, denoted as: B> A, C
- Shaded row C doesn't show displacement reaction at all, while row D shows displacement reaction with all hence we get C<D.

## Step 3:
Combine all deductions from step 2 into a logical order. Stick to the basic fundamentals of displacement rule: A highly reactive element displaces a less reactive element. According to the cues from shaded rows: B displaces A and C, D displaces all and A only displaces C; Least displacement happens with C; After putting together and reordering all statements:

### **B > A > C < D**

This indicates

1. D is the most reactive of all; it displace every other metal.
2. C doesn't displace any other, thus least reactive.
3. B only displaces A and C because A is less reactive, and C is the least reactive.
4. A happens to be more reactive than C since it displaces C.
