Answer

It becomes a brighter red

Explain

## Step1:
Hemoglobin is a protein found in the red blood cells. It is mainly tasked with carrying oxygen from the lungs to the body's tissues and then, returning carbon dioxide from the tissues back to the lungs.

## Step2:
Hemoglobin is composed of four protein molecules (globulin chains) that are bound together. For each molecule of hemoglobin, there are four oxygen molecules that can be carried. The proteins in hemoglobin bind with oxygen, this is achieved through its iron atoms.

## Step3:
When hemoglobin in blood cells binds to oxygen in the lungs, it becomes oxyhemoglobin . The oxygenated blood, known as oxyhemoglobin, gives a bright red appearance. The degree of binding between oxygen and hemoglobin determines blood color in the body to a certain extent.
