The model suggests a range from "boss-centric" or autocratic where the leader holds real power and decision making right to the opposite end "subordinate-centered" or democrat where most of the decision making right lies with the team members. So, the theory includes not only "boss-centered leadership (Authority-Obedience)", but also "subordinate-centered leadership (Freedom and Empowerment)", and covers these points "Leader high control" to "team high freedom". Therefore, a vast array of leadership styles or behaviours transpires along this sliding scale. </p>
