If the criterion mentioned in force(F) and distance(R) is applied in straightforward direction i.e., the force applied is perpendicular to the rotating object or the distance between the point of rotation and the point of force application is perpendicular, accordingly, resultingly the turning moment or torque equation falls down to τ=Fr, with no angle consideration inevitably. Consequently, multiplication of the force with the displacement or distance gives us the turning moment.</p>
