Question: How many pennies can be put in a jar FULL of water before water will spill over the edge? 12 2. Procedure: a. Using the beaker of water, fill a plastic cup with water as close to the top as possible. You may need to bend down so that your eyes are level with the top of the plastic cup. Use the plastic pipet to add a drop by drop until you are sure the cup is ALL the way full. b. GENTLY Add pennies one by one until water trickles over the edge. Count the pennies and repeat for a total of 3 times. c. d. After you have done it three times, repeat it once more but this time add a half a squirt of liquid soap to the water before adding the pennies. 3.
